Notable quotes from Ginger Wenkewicz’s interview:
I have always enjoyed helping people and helping them to be their best selves.
I was on the road about 80% of the time, because I strongly believe you cannot manage from your desk.
Indecision in and of itself is a decision.
Admit your mistakes and share what you’ve learned.
Each additional skill you master makes you more marketable and able to confidently throw your hat in the ring to be considered for the next promotional opportunity or responsibility.
Above all be kind. You can still be honest, firm and lead unquestionably. But do it with respect and kindness for the other person. Look them in the eye, even when the news is not good.
