Robert Wolf, M.D., grew up as the only child of Ervin and Judit Wolf. Their stories of their escape from communist Hungary, and his father’s tragic history of escaping the Nazis twice but having his own parents deported to Auschwitz, inspired Robert to document his parents’ tales and share those stories with Jewish groups and others throughout the United States. In “Not a Real Enemy,” Robert shares his family saga-and the forgotten history of the nearly half million Hungarian Jews who were deported and killed during the Holocaust-through an epic and inspiring tale of daring escapes, terrifying oppression, tragedy, and triumph.

The Discerning Eye: Maz Ghani, MD

Maz Ghani was born in 1969 and moved to the US in 1995 after living in Australia and Canada. A Radiologist by training, Maz gained an interest in botanical photography several years ago while exploring his wife’s colorful gardens. He uses a combination of photography and scanography to compose the botanical layouts and is inspired by nature’s diversity. His works have been published in Travel and Leisure Magazine, Black and White Magazine along with an article “Art from the Garden” in Berkshire Magazine. His photos have been included in the SLO Museum of Art Juried Exhibition, Proud+ 2021 Juried Exhibition, the iMotif Juried Exhibition and the Contemporary Online Art Gallery.

The Executive: Cristin A. Dickerson, MD

Dr. Cristin A. Dickerson is the founding partner of Green Imaging. Dr. Dickerson was born and raised in Texas. She is a graduate of Baylor University and University of Texas Medical School at Houston where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Dickerson did a clinical internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston and her radiology residency at UT Houston where she was a chief resident, with extensive training in cancer imaging at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
